This soap is unscented and made with ORGANIC shea butter, and pure hardwood charcoal, which is easier to produce and better for the environment than coconut shell charcoal. Charcoal soaps are excellent for many skin issues including acne, extremely dry skin, eczema and psoriasis. Like its counterparts, African Black Soap, and Pine Tar Soap, this soap has shown to give relief for many skin conditions. The organic shea in this soap gives it a thick, creamy, moisturizing feeling. Charcoal soap is naturally black from the added charcoal. This soap has no scent and no added colours.

Please note: Our soap bars are ALWAYS cut fresh from the loaf at the time of purchase. The soap is ‘raw’ and needs time to cure, that is harden up for 7-10 days. In the meantime, use our bars as natural, chemical free room fresheners in a linen closet, armoire drawer or simply leave in the bathroom, bedroom or kitchen. Because the soap is raw, it’s giving off a lot of fragrance! What will happen if you use the bars right away? Nothing. However, really fresh soap will dissolve in the shower a lot faster.
